Great online ordering experience, I was kept up to date on progress of my order via email and text. Everything was ready for pick up on the date quoted at order. Pick up was quick and easy from the Cockburn store - plenty of parking close by. Prices are a little expensive compared to other sellers online, but when you factor in shipping costs from the other sellers, PLE are competitive.

Tired of these 1 star reviews from folks with a single review. Honestly. I've spent well above that what Julian spent over the years. Always impressed with the level of service and advice. I've been custom building water cooled PCs for nearly 10 years. I appreciate the complexity and challenges around my hobby. I know Julian has no idea. Sometimes things don't fit, bump and, scratch cases, fans, radiators. What planned and measured doesn't turn out in the real world. 1mm of clearance, great, it fits and we ain't buying a new case or slim radiator which then changes other things like fan selections and things run out from there. Slade, always helpful and I've been dealing with him for years. How dare you, Julian. Lad just trying to help you out and you publicly dumping on him. As for the rest, well to me it sounds like you were treated as you acted, your review is prime example. I'd refuse your custom in future if it were me. Acting like you deserve special treatment because you spent money on a thing you know little about. Meanwhile, modders and builders dropping twice that and thanking those behind the counter for being on the journey with us. Sit back down sunshine, the adults are too busy to deal with you chucking toys out the pram.

Spend elsewhere! Purchased a great PC from here about 5 years ago and couldn't have been happier with it. A few weeks ago went in to order one of the custom systems offered, specifically the "blackout". Not a cheap system and one I was really excited for! Service was ok and when I said I needed to be able to pick up after 10 days, the salesperson helped me swap a few components out for ones that were in stock to ensure the timeframe would be met. Called today (precisely at the 10 working days cutoff) and was told, borderline rudely, that no, my system wouldn't be ready as promised. I asked if there was anything they could do and it was a hard no. I should have been informed of any delay to the promised turnaround time. I then went into the store to get a refund and the salesperson was cold and uninterested. Made no attempt to help, or offer another system they may have ready to go. Really poor service all round. Will not be purchasing anything from PLE again.

No issues with service, but had >$600 worth of gear lined up, went to pay, and then found out they don't accept AMEX. The fact a business with multiple sites nationwide dealing in products that are not exactly cheap doesn't accept AMEX is ridiculous. Fair enough for sole traders, small one site independents, but not for IT equipment.. A potential long term customer for business and personal lost.

Ordered online, motherboard was out of stock but supplier restock was provided as a couple of days. I had to email them constantly to find out when it is coming. Kept me on a line for more than a month about when the motherboard will be arriving and when the supplier will be restocking. Only to finally respond to me that the motherboard is now end of life and they won't restock.
